Fatehsagar lake cleaning campaign
As a lake conservation & environmental chairmain Dr. Pradeep Kumawat released ‘Jheelo ki Prem Bhari Pati’ titled pamphlets to make people feel responsible towards lakes with the co-operation of Alok Hiran Magri, Fatehpura & Panchwati’s 500 Interact members started the cleaning campaign from Fatehsagar to Swaroop Sagar’s link channel.
Dr. Pradeep Kumawat applealed the families settled around the bank of Fatesagar to join the campaign. He also urged the people & shopkeeper instead of throwing wastage, garbage etc. in the lakes should throw it in the dustbin & explained them about their disadvantages.
20,000 pamphalets titled ‘Jeelo ki Prem Bhari Pati’ were distributed among citizens. 500 members of Interact Club including Alok Hiran Magri, Fatehpura, collected thrown ice-cream cups, left over glasses of thermocol, leap of plastic garbage, empty stems of corns etc. All this garbage was removed from Fatehsagar. Appealing people to keep the lakes clean two boards were also displayed.
Social Service at Dhoot Talai
To save the lakes from contamination & to enhance the flow of lakes Dr. Pradeep Kumawat initiated a drive to remove garbage, wastage & other useless materials from lakes by rendering meritorious social service. By this lakes can be freed from contamination & their flow can be enhanced.
